Chapter 1010 1010: Han Yu's Return
Chapter 1010 1010: Han Yu's Return
Fortunately Han Yu had already studied his soul abilities obsessively for years.
He knew this was the only possible method.
His soul power erupted while the Eight Emotions Lotus spun wildly within his Soul Space. Han Yu forcibly suppressed his own instincts while simultaneously pushing the anchor into activation.
Minutes passed painfully.
The pressure around him grew stronger and stronger.
Then finally something snapped.
SHUA!
Brilliant white light erupted across the room.
The Undying Life Charm anchor floated upward violently while terrifying energy surged outward. Ju Fan's body suddenly collapsed sideways onto the floor. The connection between body and soul had finally been severed completely!
At that moment the anchor fully activated.
A horrifying suction force exploded outward.
All the precious materials scattered around the room began dissolving instantly. Spirit stones shattered into dust while refined blood essence vanished into streams of energy. Spirit herbs, energy crystals, life preserving jade and countless rare treasures all rapidly disappeared as the anchor devoured them greedily.
Han Yu could only endure the strange sensation surrounding him.
He had no idea how long this process would take. The first time he revived, it had taken an absurd amount of time. Thankfully he had prepared vastly more resources this time. More importantly, Han Yu understood the process much better now.
Within the strange state of nonexistence surrounding him, Han Yu focused his will carefully.
He projected a specific image repeatedly into the anchor.
His original appearance.
Not Ju Fan.
Han Yu.
He had already realized long ago that the anchor could shape the revived body according to subconscious desire. If left uncontrolled, the body could emerge in practically any random suitable form.
This time Han Yu intentionally guided the process.
Then gradually…
His awareness faded completely.
Everything disappeared.
There was no time.
No sound.
No sensation.
Only emptiness.
Eventually though…
Consciousness returned.
Han Yu slowly opened his eyes.
The first thing he noticed was the cold stone floor beneath him. The second thing he noticed was that he was completely naked. Han Yu immediately sat up while instinctively checking his body.
His skin.
His muscles.
His meridians.
His dantian.
Everything felt perfect.
No.
More accurately… Everything felt fresh.
This body lacked the strange alterations and transformations Ju Fan's body had accumulated over years of cultivation. There was no trace of the Freezing Abyss Glacial Art, no curse modifications, no bloodline alterations and no special physique refinements.
The body felt utterly blank.
Pure.
Clean.
Yet despite that… Han Yu's cultivation aura surged powerfully.
His eyes widened slightly.
"Peak Nascent Soul Realm?"
He had not expected that.
More specifically, he instantly recognized the stage.
Adult Soul Stage.
He had revived directly at the peak of the Nascent Soul Realm!
Of course there was a reason for that.
The sheer quantity of resources consumed by the anchor this time had been horrifying. Han Yu had practically poured mountains of wealth into the process. The anchor had created this body directly at that level using those resources as fuel.
Still, the cultivation differed from ordinary cultivators.
This body possessed pure raw cultivation without specialized techniques attached to it. It was almost like an untouched vessel filled with immense power. Han Yu quickly checked his soul cultivation afterward.
Thankfully, his Soul Refinement Realm, Master Stage cultivation remained entirely intact.
That was his true foundation after all.
A relieved smile finally appeared on his face.
Han Yu stood up and quickly grabbed a nearby robe before walking toward a mirror placed beside the wall. The moment he saw his reflection, he froze briefly. Then he smiled slowly. His old face had finally returned.
Not Ju Fan, but the suave scheming and handsome Han Yu.
The familiar appearance almost felt nostalgic after so many years.
"I look much better like this," he muttered with satisfaction.
He suddenly wondered what expression Meng Jueyan would make upon seeing this face again after all these years. Still, before doing anything else, Han Yu needed to confirm something important.
He turned toward Ju Fan's unconscious body lying nearby.
Han Yu immediately entered soul form once more.
Then he descended into Ju Fan's body.
The connection formed instantly.
His eyes opened again.
Han Yu flexed Ju Fan's fingers slowly and immediately realized something shocking. There was absolutely no resistance. The body responded perfectly. It felt exactly like controlling his own body normally.
Han Yu quickly switched back into his revived body again afterward.
Then back into Ju Fan's.
Then back once more.
A grin slowly spread across his face.
"It actually worked…"
He now effectively possessed two separate bodies.
Two perfect vessels.
One carried years of specialized cultivation and terrifying techniques.
The other possessed a fresh powerful foundation with limitless future potential.
Most importantly… Both belonged entirely to him.
Han Yu felt deeply satisfied seeing that everything had gone according to his plans. For all the risks he had taken, for all the years of research and experimentation he had devoted to soul cultivation, the results now stood directly before him.
Two bodies.
Two perfect vessels.
And most importantly, both entirely belonged to him.
Han Yu quickly confirmed the condition of Ju Fan's original body once more.
The body remained seated cross legged in meditation while faint streams of cold Qi circulated through the meridians automatically. The vitality preserving pills had worked perfectly and maintained the body in an ideal dormant condition.
After several more checks, Han Yu finally relaxed.
"As long as the body is fed vitality pills every month, it should remain stable indefinitely," he muttered quietly.
That solved one of his greatest concerns.
Of course there were still risks involved. If Ju Fan's body was heavily damaged while Han Yu was too far away, things could become troublesome. But compared to the advantages he now possessed, those risks felt acceptable.
With that settled, Han Yu finally changed into a fresh set of robes.
The robes themselves were simple dark blue garments that Qing Luan had secretly prepared and sent to him months ago through the merchant network. Unlike Ju Fan's cold and sinister attire, these robes suited Han Yu's original appearance far better.
