"The act of a fellow Taoist who kills is also the result of wisdom and deeds. It is like a fool letting a tortoise return to the sea, and sending a summer insect back to the ice. If a fellow Taoist discovers something and can report it to the Department of Merits, not only will all beings be saved, but there will be no killing. Isn't it the best of both worlds?"

"The sad and far-sighted man deserves to be a co-knowledge of meritorious deeds. This argument is wonderful!"
"The words are reasonable, but the killing words are extremely absurd!"
"If you don't get rid of the killing intent, the dust can't come out. No matter how wise you are, if you keep killing, you will fall into the divine way."

Master Beiyuan said calmly: "My Buddha is merciful, and all living beings are equal. Even the Buddha is equal to the life of a pigeon."

Mo Chuan asked with a smile: "Since we are sentient beings, is self-inflicted killing living beings?"

Tiangan Guoshi, who had never spoken, suddenly laughed loudly: "If you are a Buddha, if you commit suicide, teach others to kill, it is convenient to kill, praise killing, and rejoice when you see it... Killing is the most important precept against killing!"
This is the statement in "Buddha Says Brahma Net Sutra Bodhisattva Precepts Book First Killing Precept".
