After Lin Xuan Qi and Liu Shi Shi were done praying to the heavens, they offered tea to Lee He Song, who was the elder representative for Liu Shi Shi.
Lee He Song chuckled and took the tea from them.
"I declare you husband and concubine!" Once again, Madam Sai declared loudly and everyone gave out another cheer.
Finally it was done and Liu Shi Shi was brought to her room.
What was left was the wait for the bride and as for the groom, it was time to entertain the guests and have a good meal with them.

"Thanks. Please eat all you can today." Lin Xuan Qi smiled and thanked them for it.
Lu Ting who was also nearby came up and said, "I would just wish for your marriage to last eternally."
"Thank you too." Lin Xuan Qi turned towards her, thanked her and said, "And thank you so much for the Spirit Herbs."
She had delivered what he had wanted for the Five-Element Foundation Establishment Pills.

He had done so previously so she didn’t ask any questions about it.

Some of them had been with him when he had just started out.
And some of them knew him later but they were just as helpful and supportive of him.
"Let’s not stand around and settle in for the dinner first." He gestured for them to go to the dining hall and they followed him.
When they got there, there were many dishes already waiting for them.
"I can’t wait to try these." Sima Long’s eyes beamed with anticipation when he saw the roasted piglet in the middle of the table.
"Me too." Huo Fei Li said and he was looking at the roasted duck next to it.
Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at them and said, "Don’t worry, there’s enough for everyone."
Everyone took their seat and they started the feast.
They proposed a toast one after another to the groom and Lin Xuan Qi obliged.
It was a joyous occasion for all.
Even the servant girls and guards were in a good mood as they had the same dishes earlier.
These dishes were a greatly satisfying reward for them after being busy with the wedding preparations for so long.
And as the snow fell slowly from the sky, the warmth of the food and candlelight made everyone feel safe and fulfilled in the cold winter night.

The candlelight swayed from left to right, just like how Yue Xin was feeling.
She was anxious about what was to happen and she could only try to calm herself down.
The silk bridal veil covering her face didn’t make it any better.
It was times like this that she hoped to have Yue Jie by her side to help with it.
But it was not possible and so she would have to deal with it alone until Lin Xuan Qi arrived.

She jumped from the bed and her heart started pumping hard when she saw a familiar figure at the door.

Lin Xuan Qi closed the doors behind him and he walked towards the tea table which was close by the bed.
Yue Xin’s eyes darted from left to right before she finally calmed herself enough to stand up and pour him a cup of tea.
"Thanks." Lin Xuan Qi said and he picked up the teacup to have a sip of the warm tea.
He had so many cups of wine earlier that he reeked of the smell of wine.
When Yue Xin smelled it, she got worried and asked, "You’ve had a lot of wine? Are you feeling fine?"
Lin Xuan Qi put down the teacup, looked at her and reached out his hand.
"Don’t you worry, it was not enough to get me drunk." He said while he held onto the side of the silk bridal veil.
Then he gave her a smirk and said, "Wait a minute.
"Are you more worried about me being drunk or more worried if I can’t do it with you..."
His tease made Yue Xin freeze as she didn’t know the answer herself.
She didn’t know how to respond but it was too late for her.
Lin Xuan Qi lifted the silk bridal veil off her face.
Her blushed cheeks and almond-shaped eyes glanced around trying to find an escape.
"Relax and let me guide you." Lin Xuan Qi pulled her into his arms and said.
Her mind went blank when she felt his strong arms and broad chest.
And she was frozen stiff when his lips locked with hers.
